Thomas and Cat mountains are a moderate hike and you can see the lake very well.
Buck mountain and sleeping beauty mtn are on the east side and both family friendly.
Shelving rock area is has more challenging hikes uphill, can also get to the shore to swim (about 1/2 mile). Look for the waterfall trail as well, a must see.
Buttermilk falls on the Hudson (past Luzerne) is neat for a drive / short walk about. River is beautiful, pristine. Can park right on the shore.
Ausable river gorge, easy hiking, fee for entrance, rafting or guided tours extra.
Adirondack extreme is rope and bridges, good for kids and adults for a few hours. Age restrictions on some parts.
Flat Rock Nature Center - woodland trails with native gardens and wildlife.
GROCERY
Buy food in Queensbury for best prices. Price Chopper on Glenn st (Route 9) or Hannaford on Quaker are good.

Stable Gate Deli one half mile North on Rt 9N - well stocked with fantastic sandwiches.
Ray’s Deli is a half mile South on Rt 9N - well stocked, neat gifts and also great sandwiches.
Stewarts and Rite Aid are South on Rt 9, just North of the Village.
ACTIVITIES
Steam boat tours on LG, Mohican is my favorite (longest tour) but depends on how long you have - it goes by faster than you think. http://lakegeorgeshoreline.com/cruises/lake-george-cruises/lake-george-coupons/
Indoor fun - Adventure Racing or Fun Spot. Aviation mall for movies.
Pirates Cove mini golf is the best, one in LG and one further south by outlets.
Glenn Drive Inn is a blast. Starts at dusk, double features, good times.
Fort William Henry in LG village and Fort Ticonderoga up in Ti if you really like history. Great for children.

The big breakfast at the Lone Bull, right up RT 9 and across from Stable Gate Deli (also very good).
